I hate to imagine the amount of money my mother spent developing roll after roll of film.
When I was 13, I was trusted with capturing my Grandma & Grandpa's 50th anniversary party and I fell in love with photography even more. It is the best feeling to capture people's natural interactions and knowing they can keep a piece of that moment forever.
This is why weddings are where I choose to focus my energy. There is nothing quite like the love, tears, laughter, and joy captured on a wedding day.
I incorporate this same style in my family portraits, as well. While a nice posed family picture is always included I also make sure to capture families in fun, playful, and unscripted moments.
I started my business in 2013 when my son, Paul, was born. I didn't want to stay in my 9-5 job and miss seeing him grow up. In 2020 I married my best friend, Jared, and gained a daughter, Lizzy. Our kids are just 6 months apart and competitive in EVERY aspect. We also have 2 doggos, - Midnight & Lucy, as well as 8 snakes!
Planning our wedding in the middle of a pandemic was one of the most stressful things I've ever dealt with but certainly opened my eyes to what brides have to go through in the amount of vendor contact and coordination for the big day and I hope this new understanding helps me better serve my clients!
• I love to dance and will definitely be doing so at your wedding reception.
• I love to read, mostly crime and thriller novels.
• I have lived in 3 different countries.
• Pizza, chocolate, and Netflix are three of my favorite things.
• I can't touch cotton balls, fleece, or anything with that yucky texture.
