now Booking 2024 & 2025 Weddings!
In February, I had the pleasure of photographing Stephen & Malissa’s wedding at Rose Wood Event Venue in Topeka, KS. The bridal suite perfectly matched their yellow and gray color scheme and made for some beautiful getting ready photos. Malissa did a first look with her father, step-dad, and her groom. After that it was time for the ceremony, Malissa & Stephen both wrote their own vows and had everyone in tears! We headed to Gage Park for a few photos and then to Norsemen Brewery in NOTO for some more portraits and their reception. Their whole day was so fun and very laid back. Everyone had a great time dancing at the reception – especially their 3 adorable flower girls.
So happy I got to witness these two become Mr. & Mrs.! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day!
"Marisa was absolutely wonderful to work with. Planning a wedding from 16 hours away is no joke, and the vendors make all the difference in the world. I didn't meet Marisa until the day of my wedding, but I had great contact with her through email during the months of planning. The day of our wedding, she was super sweet, stayed on schedule, and was always there to capture the precious moments."
"My husband and I could not have chosen a better photographer for our special day! Despite a rainy day, Marisa captured every beautiful and silly moment from our wedding, reception, and in between. The posed portraits are beautiful, but she has a true gift for capturing the candid moments too. We will definitely be booking with her for future photos!"
"There are not enough great things I can say about Marisa! She has a true gift with photography, and an amazing personal touch as well. She takes the time to get to know you, what you like, and capture everything magically, even things you didn't think about yourself. There were so many "in the moment" photos from our wedding and engagement sessions that were compeltely perfect and reflected our personality that she caught herself. I would recommend her to anyone, and plan to!"
